The housing is made out of cast aluminum alloy 3mm thick in one-piece construction having two compartments, one for accommodating the control gear and the other for reflector and lamp. It shall be painted gray outside and white stove enamel inside. Lamp housing shall have side reflectors made out of 0.4 mm pre anodized aluminum sheet duly patterned. Reflector shall be suitably coated with a peal of blue lacquer for protection of anodized surface. A protective acrylic cover made out of 0.3mm thick sheet hong shall be mounted on lamp housing with corrosion resistance toggles with suitable synthetic/ felt gasket for protection against dust, vermin and rain. Fitting shall be suitable for side entry having a nominal socket bore for mounting on 40 mm, 50 mm, 60 mm pipe shall be supplied complete with fixing arrangement and mounting pipe suitable.

The housing is made out of cast aluminum alloy 3mm + 0.3mm thick in one-piece construction having two compartments, one for accommodating the control gear and the other for reflector and lamp. Lamp housing shall have reflectors made out of 1.25 mm pre anodized aluminum sheet duly patterned. Reflector shall be suitably coated with a peal of blue lacquer for protection of anodized surface. A protective-acrylic cover made out of 3.0mm thick sheet hinge shall be mounted on lamp housing with corrosion resistance toggles with suitable synthetic/ felt gasket for protection against dust, vermin and rain. Fitting shall be suitable for side entry having a nominal socket bore for mounting on 40 mm, 50 mm 60 mm pipe shall be supplied complete with fixing arrangement and mounting pipe suitable.

Street light fitting of IP-65 class. The fitting shall be as per IS: 10322 part-5/sec-3/1987 with andt. No-1&2 and comply with the requirement of IS: 13383 Part-2/1992 with amdt. No-1 (for photometry test) street light suitable for tubular HPSV Lamp confirming to IS: 9974 part-1 with andt. No-1,2,3, and part-2, with amdt. No-1&2, complete with control gear, suitable for operation on 200-220-240 volts AC, single phase ac supply and to be used at 8 to 15 meters. The housing shall be of die cast aluminum alloy 2.5 mm thick in to parts. The lower part of the fixture shall contain lamp compartment control gear and mounting arrangement and upper part of the fixture shall be hinged to the lower part joined together with a single latch. Lamp compartment shall contain reflector made from 1mm + 0.1 mm thick deep drawn aluminum sheet electro chemically brightened and anodized and minimum
4 mm thick toughened glass. The reflector and toughened glass shall be sealed together with silicon compound to give IP-65 Protection. Lamp compartment shall also contain lamp holder assembly fixed to the reflector with neoprene gasket and two stainless steel latches. Lamp holder assembly shall also have arrangement for adjustment of holder for different optics. Fittings shall be suitable for side entry having a nominal socket bore for mounting on 40 mm, 50 mm or 60 mm.
The fittings will be visually airtight and comply with IP-65 requirement of IS: 10322 part-1- 1982. Fitting will have photometric efficiency of 65%.
